About AMC CR 650™
AMC CR 650™ is a high molecular weight polymer powder, which has been developed to improve the encapsulation of cuttings, as well as to help stabilize the formation. AMC CR 650™ forms a protective polymer film on the drill pipe and drill bit, and on the walls of the wellbore, which also helps provide lubricity when drilling in problematic formations. It is ideal for use in horizontal directional drilling, water wells, mining and tunneling applications.
Application
AMC CR 650™ provides clippings encapsulation and improves wellbore stability in a wide variety of drilling fluids. Typical concentrations range from 0.5 – 3kg/m3 (0.175 – 1lb / barrel). Can be used as a single product, in a system of low solids concentration fluids, or can be combined with AMC GEL™ or AMC EZEE TROL™ to form a more fluid system robust. Can also be used alone or with clay inhibitors and shales such as potassium chloride or AMC 117™ to provide a high degree of stabilization of said formations, although in this case may require high concentrations to maintain viscosity.
